Hi Mom,
Your anniversary is this week! Hope You and Dad have a great day! Hope Jennie had a great birthday, I feel very bad I forgot to say something. But I hope her day was Great! Glad to hear Brother Auger is doing well; I recieved a letter from Sister Auger, it was so nice to hear from her! Hey you guys went out and shot the .22´s, that´s awesome! Wow, so brennan is working on getting his Eagle! That's way cool, I'm proud of him for all that dedication! Glad the garden is coming in good. Well, while it's getting warmer there it's getting colder here. So this week we had zone conferance and interviews, that went good. So this week is a turning point for me, seems like a lot of time but at the same time no. It does mean I don't have much more time to complete a few goals I want to accomplish during my mission. I believe during this first year I've been through some of the best and worst experiences and times of my life. Everything is good, always doing my best to do my best, it's really true the statement, "The Lord helps those who help themselves." And I know he always comes through on His part! This week we had stake conferance, and the stake center was jam packed, which was awesome! It's been cool to see the church in different levels of growth from a Family Group, to a Branch, and now to a ward, I've been in all. I love you guys and hope you have a great week! Love you Mom and Dad and hope your anniversary is Great!
Love, Aaron

Glad everyone is doing good! Speaking of dad, I saw a car here he might like and I'm sending the picture. Pretty cool because it's the first one I've seen my whole mission, and I know Dad would appreciate it. I'm glad Grandma got my letter. I received one from her as well, which made me feel just as good! I got a letter from Jennie, glad everything is going good with the family! SO.. this Saturday we baptized our ¨Golden Investigator¨ Vilma, it was awesome, she told us that she didn't know why she was alive, and felt really alone, (because she lives alone) and she went to visit a psychologist a few times. Then the one day she didn't know what to to do anymore is the day we knocked on her door. Since then everything has become better she told us, so that was awesome! And now she is a member of the Church. Everything is going good here, I ate REAL Ceviche for the first time yesterday it was pretty good. It's like the national favorite here. Oh yeah, speaking Spanish all the time is making me socially aukward with other people from the states, ha ha. There is a couple visiting from Idaho because their daughter is married to a guy down here and they just had a baby. Her dad was trying to talk to me but I've become so accustumbed to responding in spanish that I use spanish words and then I remember, OH YEAH, they don't understand, so it's interesting, but I don't usually talk to tourists, as soon as they see us they're like OHH NOOO and hurry and walk on a different side of the street or something ha ha. One time in Cusco a family from Utah was looking at the sites and were happy to see us, and then one time in Puerto a tourist bus went by and this lady saw us and hung out the window and yelled KEEP UP THE GOOD WOOOOORK!!! as the bus went by ha ha, but other than that nothing has happened. Love ya guys, have a great week! Love, Aaron

Week 50, Lake Titicaca
Hi Family,
Glad things are going pretty good back home. Wow! That's crazy Stormy is leaving soon, I'm excited for him, then when he gets back we can talk in Spanish together. So to answer Dad's and Mom's question, they live on the floating islands, origanally, to escape the Spanish, and since then a small group of the people have chosen to continue living on the lake, now all the money the make is from tourists.... one of them being me *cough cough* ha ha - but I hope you like what I bring home to you, Mom. That quote you sent me from Patrick Henry is awesome and it's true too, applies to the Gospel as well! Saturday we were blessed to baptize Johnathan, it was awesome, and this Saturday were going to baptize our Golden investigator Vilma, so that's really exciting. I did have my first ¨Gringo¨ companion (or American) for a day, because my companion had to go to Cusco, and I wasn't sure if he was going to come back, but he did luckily. It was way different being with a fellow countrymen ha ha, pretty cool though. I'm not sure if I'll ever have an American companion again - it doesn't happen a lot, but it would be cool. I love you and I'll talk to you next week!

Week 49
HI, Mom,
Hey I'm glad you guys had a great Easter with the family. Well this past week was pretty sweet, we went to the Uros, which are those floating houses on Lake Tiitkaka, so that was really awesome. Our favorite investigator came to church this week, so that makes it even better. When no one comes to church it's depressing. We taught someone yesterday that tried to teach us. He's like a preacher. He listened to us for a little bit, and then he's said, "in Revelation 12, it says what the requirements are for the true church. He took my bible off my lap and began to read and explain the chapter to us. He then proceeded to say that he believed what we said, but that the truth needs to be proved for "fire" so he turned to Exodus 20 and started to read the ten commandments, but before he started he asked, "your church guards the ten commandments right?" We said, "ummm, yeah". "Oh Good" he said. "But let's read them", then he got to the Sabbath Day, and said, "Which day do you guys worship?" And we said Sunday, and from there he wanted to try to bible bash us, (or continue) to which I said, "Listen to me you Worm! (Not like that, ha ha, but with nicer words) "if you want a test of fire here is The Book of Mormon, this Book is from God or the Devil, but I testify to you that this Book is from God and it is scripture, and if you want to know the truth you need to read it and pray about it. Then he didn't know what to say, and then said, I'll read the whole thing within 2 weeks, then he wanted to start with the sabbath day thing again, so, we testified again, made another appointment and left. So that was the experience of the week! I'm sending a bunch of photos, love you guys, hope you have a great week!
